Interpersonal Skills Courses

People interacting with other people, that’s pretty much what we mean by interpersonal skills.

These skills are the ones we’ve been using most of our lives already. However, not many of us make any conscious effort to improve. We may be aware of the fact that our behaviour impacts on other people, but not of what we can do about it.

All our Interpersonal Skills Courses help delegates look at choosing their behaviour for the effect it will have on others.

They do NOT look at learning significant new behaviours.

Why?

Because for most of us that is just too difficult a task.
Our trainers are skilled at helping individual participants choose and tweak their existing styles and behaviours in order to change their impact on others for the better.

Interpersonal Skills Courses

Assertiveness Course – one day
CATD’s original “too nice for your own good” one-day Assertiveness Course. The course will give you more choice over your own destiny. It’s a practical course focusing on your confidence and ability to handle others. You will come out feeling better about yourself. You’ll learn how to say ‘no’ and you won’t have to change who you are.

Assertiveness Course – two day
This two-day Assertiveness Training course covers all the material from the one-day course, plus it gives more time to practice, practice, practice new behaviours, tools and techniques.

Customer Service Course
This Customer Service Course is centered on what you might call ‘the human moment’ – when businesses actually have personal interaction with their customers rather than communicating via technology to get their message across. It provides participants with the capacity to deliver good customer care even in the most difficult circumstances. It will also enable them to deal with potentially difficult customers.

Influencing Skills Course
This one-day Influencing Skills Course looks at influencing skills that work differently for each individual. Participants get the opportunity to practise a variety of Influencing tools and techniques to see what works for them and what best suits their personal style. Altogether an injection of energy, understanding and communication skills that will help you become an excellent influencer.

Negotiation Skills Course – one day
Negotiation is an everyday part of life – we’re always negotiating, with varying degrees of success. This one-day Negotiation Skills Course highlights the skills and qualities we already use, introduces some new ones and hones them all for more effective use in lots of different negotiation scenarios.

Influencing and Negotiation Skills – two day
This two-day Influencing and Negotiating Skills Course looks at Influencing and Negotiation as skills that work differently for each individual. Participants get the opportunity to practice a variety of Influencing and Negotiating tools and techniques to see what works for them and what best suits their personal style. Altogether an injection of energy, understanding and communication skills that will help you become an excellent influencer and negotiator.

Building Resilience Course
Resilience. The ability to bounce back from adversity. This one-day Building Resilience course focuses on where delegates already feel resilient. The kind of circumstances that undermine their resilience and what can be done about it.
